Selena Frentress

Program Director

Hello! My name is Selena Frentress and I am the Program Director for Totally Tots

Early Childhood Center.

I am originally from Oklahoma, but have called Hayden home for the last 18 years.

This is where my husband and I raised our three sons.

I have always enjoyed working with children and discovered after having my own, it was my passion.

So, I decided to become a preschool teacher. I taught at Hayden Valley Preschool for 7 years and Co-Directed for 3 years. I also have worked with Totally Kids After School Program and Summer Day Camp since 2006. I am excited to meet the new families who are joining the Totally Tots family, as well as greeting those familiar faces.

Infant Supervisor/Lead Teacher

I moved to Craig from Meeker in 2015 for college. I was born in Michigan and still have family there. I have one older sister who lives in Oregon with my three nieces. My husband and his family are from Hayden. We have two kiddos together, Brynlee 3 1/2 and Deegan 5 months. We love camping, dirt biking, RZR riding, and pretty much any outdoor activities. I look forward to getting to know your kiddos.

Hi! My name is Brandi Salazar. I grew up in Steamboat Springs and moved to Hayden five years ago and immediately fell in love with the town and community. I am very excited to work here at Totally Tots! My goal is to earn a degree in Early Childhood Education so I can eventually become a teacher here in town. I have always loved working with children and have worked as a nanny in my younger years and have done at home childcare for the last several years. I also have two wonderful daughters of my own (ages three and four) and love helping them learn and grow everyday and can’t wait to help your children in the same ways!

Hi, my name is Jennifer Elder Bertram, and I have been working at Totally Tots for about seven months now and absolutely love it. I love working with children and seeing them grow. My favorite hobbies include fishing, camping, riding my dirt bike and being with my family. I have two stepsons and two beautiful grandchildren that I absolutely adore and spend as much time with as possible.

I look forward to teaching your child and getting to adore them just as much.

I am married with two adult children, and I have seven amazing grandchildren. We moved to Craig, CO. this summer from Castle Rock.

I have 40 years of childcare experience; spending the last 15 years at Primrose School Of Castle Rock. There I was the director of parent communication and infant supervisor. I am thankful for the years I have been able to work with children and look forward to getting to know everyone in the Yampa Valley.

Hi, my name is Jaqueline Lopez! I moved to Craig Co. from Mexico in 2008 and graduated high school in 2018. I have 2 sisters and 1 brother. I began working in head start in 2021, and completed my Child Development Associate in early 2022. I started working in Totally Tots April 2023 and I love it! I enjoy working with children and have always been very passionate working in early childhood education. I am very excited to be a part of helping your children reach their milestones and in creating a safe, fun, and loving environment. Some of my hobbies are spending time with family and listening to music!
